I met a lot of great people over these past two days, lots of interest in my cake pops and sold almost ALL of my 500+ cake pops I had, so I would say it was a huge success...now if I could only do this every weekend...I could quit my day job, ha ha!
A HUGE thanks goes out to my Mom who helped bake my cakes and then stopped over Friday night and she helped wrap them and my Dad put them all in the containers...I make him work for all the cake pops I give him...LOL! My Mom also helped at the craft shows by being my little pack mule and helped me sell them, cut up samples, bagged them...made sure my display always looked snazzy...huge help!
Anywho...just wanted to post a few pics of my display from the shows...Thanks to all who stopped by and purchased a cake pop or two to help me out!
One more thing...to those of you who know how many "ventures" I have started throughout the past 20 years...it was funny how you stopped by and told me that you think I have finally found my niche and found something that has taken off and YES I have...thanks for putting up with all my "neuroticism" and supported me throughout everything :-)
These were the 9 cakes that were baked by my Mom and this was Thursday night and I turned these 9 cakes into 300 cake pops by Saturday morning...and I work full-time...so, yeah...I'm a wee bit exhausted but it was worth the time and effort!
I needed to add a little color to my tables, so I bought some styrofoam balls and painted them, glued on fuzzy little balls that acted as the "sprinkles" and decorated a glass jar...it added just the right touch but I have to tell you this cute story...at the St. John's Craft Sale today, a little girl was upset because she wanted to buy the big green fake cake pop...she thought it was a real cake pop...so cute :-)
That's it for now and I hope you all have a wonderful Monday and I will be in touch real soon!
