Bridal Shower Pops

I have to deliver this arrangement today to a coffee shop in Appleton for a Bridal Shower.  The theme is an outdoorsy, natural type theme and they are also incorporating Gnome's into the theme so OF COURSE, I had to find a Gnome to add to the cake pop display.

The colors of the wedding are cocoa, champagne and off white, so I chose the chocolate colors and the sprinkles closest to those colors as I can find.

Well, that's all for now!

One more thing...I just have to tell you this...I am absolutely sick to my stomach...you know the cake pop arrangement I posted just before this post???? Well, I had to ship them to Elkhorn, WI as I have done quite a few times for this gal...I opened my email this morning and she told me that UPS delivered them yesterday and when she opened up the big arrangement it was all melted and cracked from sitting in the truck all day!!!!!!!  I know it isn't my fault, but I feel just horrible about that...the ones in the 2012 chinese boxes were all fine.  These were for her graduation party tomorrow from earning her masters degree..

NOTE TO SELF:  DO NOT SHIP CAKE POPS IN THE HEAT!!!!!!!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Graduation Party Pops

I'm starting to get orders again and it feels so good to get the creative juices flowing again...I've realized that this is quite a seasonal business - it is my form of therapy and I so enjoy it!

This arrangement is the 5th order from this same customer and I have to ship them to her in Elkhorn, WI and knock on wood...they have all arrived there in one piece.

She just graduated with a masters degree and is having a graduation party so I put together this fun, whimsical arrangement with the extra pops she ordered in the 2012 chinese takeout boxes.

Thanks for looking!

Chocolate & Wine Pairing Pops

A former classmate and friend of mine, was having a Pairing Party of Wine & Chocolates and ordered 36 cake pops for this event.  I made 18 pops out of milk chocolate cake mixed with milk chocolate frosting, dipped in white chocolate and sprinkled with chocolate cookie krunch.  18 were made from dark chocolate cake mixed with dark chocolate frosting, dipped in dark chocolate and topped with chocolate cookie crunch.  Now mind you, I am not a dark chocolate fan but after one bite of these tasty little morsels, I'm a dark chocolate cake pop lover now - they were deee lish!

If you need to bring a tasty little dessert to an event or want someting special for aparty of your own, call me up and order one of these trays!

Pops for Prom 2012

It's been a while since I posted any cake pops but life gets in the way sometimes and I don't find the time to make them.  My daughter had her prom yesterday and let me tell you I had such a wonderful day with her from getting her hair done, putting on her makeup and helping her get dressed - I had tears in my eyes when I saw her all dressed up looking so beautiful!  Ok...enough of me getting all mushy...here are the cake pops I made for the post prom.  Their colors were lime green, black and silver so I coordinated those colors to go with the theme.  I ended up making about 150 cake pops and there weren't hardly any left when I left at 2:00 this morning - so they were obviously a hit!

Here Comes Peter Cottontail....

With Easter right around the corner, I thought I would try to make some Easter bunnies and this is my first attempt...

I don't think they turned out that bad seeing how it was my first time - they were lots of fun to make and would look adorable in Easter baskets.

Sure can't complain about this Wisconsin winter we are having - sure hope it doesn't start to snow in March and April!

Here are some pics of the Valentine's arrangements that I had to make and I am also including some pictures of some Easter chicks I made last year and will be making again this year, so if you are looking for a cute dessert to bring to your Easter celebration, give me a call and I would love to make some for you and the kids would LOVE finding these in their Easter baskets.

I am also going to try making cute colored Easter egg cake pops and will post them when I have those done.
