What is a Cake Pop?

It is the latest trend in desserts and they are absolutely scrumptious!

In a nutshell, it is baked cake that is crumbled, mixed, rolled, stuck on a stick, dipped and decorated yumminess!

Cake Pops are baked cake from scratch or from a box, once cooled, it is crumbled, then add in a few dollops of your favorite frosting, mix altogether until it becomes a playdoh consistency, roll into balls and stick in your refrigerator to harden, or if you are like me and can't wait for a couple hours for them to harden and start decorating, put them in the freezer until they are firm, not frozen. 

While your Cake Pops are chillin' out in the fridge or freezer, you want to start melting your chocolate.  When the Cake Pops are chilled, NOT frozen, dip the tip of the lollipop stick in  the melted chocolate and insert halfway into the cake pop - let chocolate harden and then gather all of your toppings and dip the cake pop in your chocolate and let your imagination run wild and dip them in any toppings you want.
